Videogames
Hey, I am glad you are here! Underneath, you can find the games I have developed, both for school and as personal projects. You will be redirected to my video games portfolio by clicking on the images, where they are available to play as Web Games.
Mush-World
May 2023
As part of my 4rth semester (focused on
Cross-Reality implementation) I am creating a
low-poly world that serves as a playground for
modeling, rigging, and animating in Blender, writing my own shaders using HLSL, and
implementing them in Unity 3D. I will also be adding a VR experience using OpenXR.

Mictlán: Beyond the colours
Spring 2023
Mictlán: Beyond the colors is a game I have been planning for a while, and I finally Implemented the first level of! As the final project of my 2D Game Animation class, I implemented a 2D round world “obsidian mountain” level in which the player must crack the puzzle to get through while getting arrows thrown at them

Reminisce
February 2023
With my boyfriend, I was the co-developer of Reminisce during my school’s Game Jam! For the topic “Roots”, we went through the whole ideation, definition, and implementation in 2 days.
Have a look at this link!
It was the first Game Jam I ever did, and it was a super fun bonding experience! Going from 0 – Game in a weekend was no joke, but the amount of experience I gained was unbelievable!
How to game jam for beginners
Idea generation
For the ideation, we created a shared mind map in Figma, where we started narrowing down which take on “roots” we wanted to have.
Project management
To accomplish everything we wanted in time, we had a shared Trello board where we could see if any of our activities blocked the other, and how the flow was going!
Biggest takeaways
Time management
Being able to prioritize what really needs to be done vs what would be nice to have done was something I had to get comfortable with, especially because unfortnately days only have 24 hours…
Having fun
I tend to get stressed, and the game jam was no exception…But having fun with Gio, with my friends, coding, doing art…It made everything worth it. In the end, whether we had fulfilled all of Trello’s ToDos was beyond the point. Enjoying…enjoying was it.
Time to learn!
I did not need to have the perfect performance, collisions, or rigging…What I needed was to go full-in and see what worked and what didn’t from the get-go. Not only did I learn how not to do things, but also which areas of opportunities I have as a developer!
Taco Tuesday!!!
January 2022
I developed “Taco Tuesday” during our First Creative Code Lab: Playful frontends. This project aimed to use the web-development knowledge we acquired throughout our first semester of the Creative Computing Bachelor to implement our game engine using Java Script.
Between the 17th and 27th of January 2022, I spent my time refining the idea, creating the Art, and programming.
Feel free to play the game at this link!
Behind your Abuelita’s Kitchen
Game Synopsis
Taco Tuesday is an arcade game by Cherry Studios (me). Set in your Abuelita’s Kitchen, the single-player story follows a protagonist: Toñ@ the Tortilla, in their attempt to save Mexican Food from a fatal destiny…
Actions
Toñ@ can move horizontally using either A & D or Left Arrow & Right Arrow (which you can change) inside a kitchen where ingredients fall off. You must know which ingredients are good!!
Winning
Your duty will be to differentiate between the false ingredients friends and use the power-ups to your advantage… Everyone is going to be there, will you?
Cuteness overload
The pretty stuff
Taco Tuesday’s graphics look fresh, colorful, and playful. They look to radiate happiness! It looks to portray different ingredients, some that belong directly to the Mexican kitchen (like Chiles and Avocados) and some that do not (like the Austrian “Fenchel”).
I created all art from scratch during our two weeks in the Creative Code Lab, including Collectibles, players, and Screens. My favorite part was doing the Titles calligraphy as, as you can see, there is an Avocado in every place an “o” should be! I hope you like them 🙂
Find and sink!
December 2021
Find and the sink was my final project for the client-side coding class. I have always loved the Game Battleship, and one of the first programs I developed was Battleship in plain C++ on the console.
Even though this project is missing a cool random-ships-placing algorithm that positions them both horizontally and vertically, it was a great chance to learn about game states and implement a finite state machine in JS!
